Kanab

Alex and I took a last minute down to Kanab to visit my sisters. One lives there, and the other is staying there for a month to visit the national parks. I wasn't planning on going, but I needed a break from unemployment worries. It was the perfect trip. 

We swam in their pool, went on walks in the morning, painted nails, and explored local parks.

Alex loved seeing his two cousins. They make him laugh so hard, and he loves their attention. They can't get enough of him!

After swimming Alex found a spoon and explored my sister's yard.

 One night my brother-in-law took us to cool caves where there is different colored rock. The rock was soft and so we ground some sand.

 We also found Indian ruins.

 This is not a great picture but you can kinda see how this rock has all the colors of the rainbow.

 The last day we washed our cars (an excuse to get wet and stay cool) I can't resist my little boy in his swimsuit!

It was such a fun trip and was exactly what I needed!
