Fun Saturday

On Saturday we got to enjoy some local activities. In the morning my friend Jill and I went to a farmers market. I have to say I was a little disappointed by the lack of produce. I did pick up some cherries, peas, and basil. Yum! We did check out crafts and other booths. 

After Alex's nap we went to the Gateway Mall where they were having the annual chalk art festival. It is amazing what some people can do with chalk!

There was also a books festival with activities specially made for kids. They also gave away books! We also enjoyed the live band. I love the fun activities that occur in the summer.
