Happy Birthday Alex

It is hard to believe that Alex is one year old. It feel like yesterday he was just born. 

 It is crazy to think how much he has changed and grown in one year.

I tried to take good pictures of Alex all day, but he kept on giving me grumpy faces. Trust me though, he had a great day!

We didn't do a lot today, his big party is on Saturday. We let him open a few presents, and we let him eat a small cookie.

 This is right before the cookie came. Once he tried it he started shoving it in. He loved it! I can't wait for him to have cake on Saturday.

Some fun things about Alex:
he is walking around furniture slowly, but can crawl as fast as a bullet
he is a complete Mama's boy
he loves to throw Scampers his ball, and chase him
he loves different kinds of music and will dance to just about anything
he loves to sneak into the bathroom to play in the toilet water (so disgusting)
very social with other babies
loves anything electronic
won't lay still when having his diaper changed
favorites foods are cheese, and banana, but is slowly eating more vegetables and grains
loves to open cabinets in the kitchen and play with whatever he can find
says dada, uh oh, na na, and speaks a lot of gibberish
shrieks when excited
has learned to give hugs and very sloppy wide mouthed kisses
