Happenings

Stephen: Staying busy with work and school. He completed his math class! This is a big triumph since we have been working on this class for a couple of months. He is preparing to change the clutch in his car. We have a friend who is car savvy so they are going to change it together. Stephen is also giving up soda. This is a big deal and not an easy task, but he is doing it!

Kristina: I am still tutoring, watching my friend's kids once a week, and doing reviews for my sister's website. A friend and I are doing p90x four times a week, and I am sore! That workout kicks my butt. In my spare time I am working on decorations for Alex's birthday party. It is in one week, and Yo Gabba Gabba themed. I hope it turns out well. I just finished reading Gone with the Wind, and the No. 1 Ladies Detective Series. Any suggestions for new books I can read?

Alex: will be one in five days! I am so excited! He is more mobile on his feet. He is slowing walking along the couch standing up. Stephen wants him to be walking already, but I am in no hurry. He is getting into everything. He loves to play with pots and pans while I am cooking. He also likes to try and get into the bathroom if we forget to close it. He loves the toilet water. He eats his weight in string cheese everyday. It is about the only thing that he eats these days. How can a boy that is not even one be so picky? I try and feed him other foods but he just spits it out. I wait and think if he gets hungry enough he'll eat the food I give him. Nope. He just gets cranky because he's hungry. He loves to dance still. I believe he said his first word yesterday. I was getting ready to workout and I asked him if he was going to be a good boy or a stinker. He said stinker. I couldn't believe it!
