Gak

I feel like a mother posting this, but being a nanny my life is the kids I am with right now. Anyway, the last few days have been raining, a little chilly, and therefore pretty boring. I was trying to think of things for these kids to do. I looked on line and I found Gak. I remember playing with is when I was a kid and loved it. I found it on line and so we made it about an hour ago. It is such a hit, they love it! So here are the directions

2 containers
measuring cups
hot water
stirring spoon
1 4 oz container of Elmer's white glue
1 small box Borax booster (20 mule team borax)
tap water

Label each container, 1 A and 1 B
Measure 1/4 cup tap water and pour into container A
Measure 1/4 c glue and to water in container A
Stir contents in table a container throughly
Measure 2 cups of hot water and pour into container B
Measure 1/8 cup of borax and add to water in container B
Mix thoroughly
Pour measured amount into container A and immediately stir
Stir until the mix turns into a well mixed glob of gooey stuff
Food coloring can be added if desired

So easy and lots of fun!
