Although the museum was fun I was distracted and didn't enjoy it as much as I otherwise would have. It was good for our family to have that fun time especially since Alex, Kalen and I were in Minnesota a week later.

Natural history museum
The first weekend in January Stephen ad I decided to take the boys to the natural history museum. We wanted to do something fun as a family before school started again for Stephen. Alex had a blast! We first went to the experiment area. We could have stayed here the whole time! You could make your own movie and put different items in an air tube.
Eventually we wandered on to the next area. Five minutes into the museum area I got a call from my dad that my mom had had a stroke and was in the hospital. After breaking done in the creation area we continued on. Alex's favorite spot was the water play area. We liked the dinosaurs.
