Zoo

Every last Wednesday in the winter months Hogle Zoo is free. Alex has never been so we decided to go before it got too cold outside. I was a little wary because Alex has never shown much interest in animals. He has also been showing his independence a lot recently, which results in a lot of tantrums.

We met some friends there and started with the sea animals. Alex loved watching the animals. But, he would get mad when we had to move on because our friends two year old wanted to go. He also got upset because he would want to sit in the stroller between animals and be buckled in. I wouldn't buckle him because animal exhibits are so close together. After 20 minutes we decided to part ways with our friends and go on our own. I hoped this would improve things, but it didn't. We ended up staying an hour total, with Alex screaming the last 10 minutes. I was just glad we got in free.

I loved the giraffes!
