Hold Hands?

I don't think much warms a heart more than sibling love. Alex gets more and more affectionate and sweet towards Kalen everyday. Alex pats Kalen on the head, likes to hold his hand, and give him kisses. He'll walk around saying "Kalen, Kalen" if he doesn't see him. He tries to give Kalen his pacifier and if he's sleeping will say "Shhh, sleeping". So sweet.

Kalen is waking up one to two times a night. During the day he doesn't sleep as well. He whines a lot, but has a hard time sleeping by himself. I'm still mostly dairy-free. When I eat more dairy he is more gassy and more fussy. He still seems very long and skinny to me. I guess we'll find out if that's the case at his two month check-up.

Kalen is six weeks old so I have started working out again. I got up around six while everyone is still sleeping. Alex wakes up while I'm working out so he sits and watches, or tries to do it with me. It feels so good to work out again. I have missed it. It is also nice to do something for me, which I find is a rarity these days. It is also nice to work on shedding the baby weight!

Since I'm in the clear to be more active I can't wait to go hiking and swimming. I feel like I have missed out on so much this summer! Especially since Stephen starts school again at the end of this month I want to enjoy every second we have with him.
