Alex's Second Birthday

My goal for Alex's birthday this year was to make him feel special. I tried to let Alex do his favorite things. Luckily Stephen was on spring break this week so Thursday morning we were able to celebrate together.

We first went to Scheels, a sporting goods store, that has a ferris wheel inside. Alex loves to stare at it, so I thought he would love to ride. Unfortunately, he was too little to ride. I was so sad. Alex did get to look at it, and the fish there too.

 For lunch we went to his favorite place, Chick-fil-a. After his nap we played outside, another favorite. He loves the swings!
 We had his favorite meal for dinner, pizza. Once Stephen got home we opened his presents: bubbles, and an angry birds stuffed animal. He loves bubbles!

On Saturday we had his birthday party, angry birds themed! Alex loves to watch us play angry birds.

We made an angry birds cake,

 decor,

 pinata,

 and shirt.

 We were lucky enough to have my sister's family, Stephen's brothers family, and some friends. Alex was so excited to have all his favorite people there. He jumped up and down when they arrived, giggled, and said hi probably fifty times.

For our first game we set up an angry birds course with boxes, and balloon pigs. We used Alex's birthday present (stuffed red bird) to knock it down.

 Second we knocked down our pinata, but of course my batteries died during that time.

Lastly we had cake, then opened presents. Alex was spoiled silly.
