Kanab

This last week I had the opportunity to go to Kanab, where my sister just moved to. It is a tiny town near the border of Arizona.  While there I mostly helped unpack and get their house situated. We did get out a do a few fun things. First we hiked to the "K" for Kanab. It was a short hike, but steep. My nephews did awesome  and walked almost entirely by themselves. We got a good view of the town from the top.

I love the red rock. So pretty.

We also jumped on the tramp, DIYed some shirts, and played a lot.

Alex got spoiled while he was there. He was loved on by his cousins all the time. It was fun to see Alex's face whenever they would walk into the room. He would get a big old grin.

I would catch the boys watching TV together, or Alex watching them play Mario.

While in Kanab Alex has become quite the mover. No, he's not crawling, but he rolls around and around and around. He is also becoming a great eater. He now loves carrots, and has eaten them with rice cereal. My baby is getting so big and independent.

It was a great trip, I only wish I could have stayed longer.

I love Kanab Utah! That is where my mom is from. A lot of my cousins grew up there. Where is your sister living there. My Grandma, Aunt and Uncle and one cousin still live there. I also have a lot of second cousins and great aunts that live there too. It's such a small world! I hope your sister enjoys living there. How are you doing? What are you up to these days.

We miss you too! The boys keep asking when you're coming back and still include Alex in their conversations with others and self. We had some organizational boxes out and Luke was arranging them wondering and hoping which ones Alex would fit in. Yesterday they told our elderly neighbors about Alex. He's such a fun baby to have around and I sure miss your company. Thanks again for your loads of help!!!
