Getting Crafty

I think something about the fall air has motivated me to start crafting. The problem is, I am not the creative type. I have my dad's math/science brain, and only part of my mom's art genius brain. This is where pinterest comes into play. I find cute items there and recreate them. I can't imagine them up, but I can copy pretty well.

First, I found a cute Halloween banner. I cut some witch shoes,

 and strung them on ribbon.

I am also going to make this table runner. I have the fabric cut up, I just need to sew it together.

and when I was in Kanab my sister and I made this shirt. Too bad mine didn't turn out this cute.

I am also getting more creative with food. When I made baby food for Alex I used a lot foods I have never eaten like eggplant, sweet potato, parsnip and zucchini. Okay, well I have eaten zucchini but not often. I am having so much fun combining flavors, and trying out foods. Yum!
