On Saturday Stephen and I went to a very belated Christmas party. It was originally planned around the holiday, but because of sickness was delayed. We played games, ate yummy food, and caught up with good friends who live in the Provo area. We did a white elephant gift exchange. I scored two bath towels (perfect for the extra bathroom we'll have in our new apartment). Stephen on the other hand did not fare so well. Originally he had a nice, soft blanket. But it was stolen! He went for the unknown present and got butterfly magnets. Although pretty, neither one of us are butterfly people. At the end of the night we celebrated a "Russian tradition" of burning a Christmas tree. At least that was what we would have told people if they asked =) It was so dry, that it burned very quickly.
We felt like we should hold hands around the tree and sing "O Christmas Tree"
