22 Weeks

I am officially starting to feel big. Which is sad, because I know I have a long ways to go. One thing I am not enjoying about getting bigger is my belly button being so visible. Yuck. What is fun though is I am feeling him move a lot more. He likes to push against my right side a lot. This sometimes makes walking uncomfortable.

Some fun things I am learning about this guy is what food he likes (or what food my pregnant body likes). He really likes burgers. I have never been much of a burger person. They were okay, but nothing to look forward to. Now, I can't get enough. But, the burgers have to have tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, the works. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. He also likes fruity candy, no chocolate for him! He does not like salads, or really anything that I loved before. My diet has completely changed.

One thing I have been dealing with recently is trying to keep my stress level down. In case you don't remember, I have a rough class this year. They are one of the worst I have ever had. I deal so much with behavior management. Plus, it is the same students who do the same dumb things over and over again. It causes me a lot of frustration and stress. To add to that I have zero support from administration. They won't help with these trouble kids, and so it seems nothing improves. On top of that, I teach after school classes Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until six. On Tuesdays I tutor three kids until 6:30. This makes ten and a half to eleven hours of work each day. I am spent. I am so stressed out and fed up. This weekend I started with just crying my eyes out. (Hormones did not help here) But after a day of getting a massage, Stephen insisted, and some retail therapy, I was feeling better. But I know I cannot go on like this. I have decided to eliminate some things from my life, including two after school classes. I am going to take time for myself, and do something fun every weekend. So don't be surprised if I am even more MIA for awhile. I need to learn to handle everything on my plate.

So here's to hopefully a better week.

Aww, you are adorable! And so not "big". I know you feel big, but seriously, you are almost 6 months pregnant! Don't be so hard on yourself!

A burger is a great way to get in those veggies that you can't tolerate otherwise! Enjoy!

Yes you look great! Isn't it fun to finally feel big?

Yay for Stephen and a good weekend! I'm glad you feel a bit better and have wised up and are cutting back. It's not worth it. You'll never be pregnant (I hope) without other kids to deal with again, and it's a special time I hope you can enjoy and relish in, and not just get through.
