Day 2

Our second we went to Chicago. We loved it! Stephen had never been there before and I had only driven through to go to the temple.

The first stop was Sears Tower. We had to go up 103 stories. We went up a really fast elevator to get there, about sixty seconds), my ears were popping like crazy. The view from the top was amazing. We could see the whole city and Lake Michigan. We actually planned the rest of our day from what we saw up here.

At the top they have glass boxes that actually go out from the building. The was scary! I was afraid the box would break and I would fall 103 stories to my death. Luckily it is pretty secure.

Next we went to Millenium Park. They had so much here to look at. They had beautiful fountains.

Also in the park they had an auditorium, and we were lucky enough to be there when the opera was having a rehearsal. It was amazing!

They have this crazy reflective bean.

We had fun looking at ourselves from different angles.

There was also a coliseum with more fountains.

They even had a splash area for kids. We wished we had our suits, it was hot.

Stephen could not have left without having a Chicago style pizza. He said it was delicious.
