Camping

On Friday we had a ward camping trip at Jordanelle State Park. I had never been there, but it's nice! There is a lake, an actual lake, not a Utah wannabe lake that is actually a pond. There were a lot of people there with boats, you could even swim. Our ward reserved a pavilion which was nice, especially because it rained a but while we there.

We were the first ones there so Stephen decided to go swimming while we waited, I did not want to go in the cold, gross water. Scamps would go in, but not swim, he is a big scaredy cat. A couple of times Stephen brought him in the deeper water so he would have to swim. When that happened he very quickly swam to shore, and hid from Stephen.

Once more people got there we made some burgers, started a fire and had some smores. Another couple brought their dog, Scamps got so protective that he would bark at him, snarl, and even showed his teeth a couple of times. It was not good. What was funny though is the other dog was huge, it weighed at least a hundred pounds. It was so funny to see Scamp, a small terrier trying to take on this enormous dog.

We decided not to camp, which I was really glad because it rained and the wind was strong, and it was cold. I was glad to spend the night in my nice, warm bed.
