We meet with the doctor, I tell him all of my random symptoms, he listens to me breathe and all that good stuff. After he was done he basically tells me that I just need to take Ibuprofen or Benadryl. I responded, why would I take those drugs for nauseau and extreme fatigue? He then said that it would help with headaches, and a runny nose. When he said that I tried to figure out why he is telling me that, because I haven't had problems with that. He then goes on to tell me that a little alcohol never hurt anybody, and that he is a pediatrician. I lost all faith in him right then. He did give me a prescription for cough medicine, but I didn't fill it because I think he gave it to me so he would feel better about himself, because he didn't diagnose me with anything, and said I should drink a little.
Luckily, I am feeling better now, I'm glad because there are only five days of school left!

Yeah, I wouldn't take anything that doctor offered! Did he not even get a blood test ordered? It could be low iron levels or something else that could be found through a blood test.

Um, yes. I'd start looking for a new doctor. I mean, he didn't even draw blood, or do a strep check, but recommended alcohol? It's probably what he does when he's sick.
Lame! Hmm, you have a broken arm and a rattlesnake bite? Ibuprofen, Benadryl and alcohol should do the trick!
okkkkkay...what a waste of a co-pay
