We had such a wonderful weekend. The weather was beautiful, and it was nice to spend so much time together as a family. On Saturday we went on a hike in the mountains to a creek. It was beautiful with the large trees and all the green. The current was very fast with all the snow melting.
Alex enjoyed tossing rocks into the creek.
On Monday we went on a walk, and did some mattress shopping (Alex is graduating to a twin bed). We thought of our grandfathers who served, and all those who continue to serve to insure our freedoms. Most of all we enjoyed getting an extra day to spend together.
