We've lived in our apartment complex for almost three years and we've loved it. The complex could not be any better. It is right next to the interstate and the best shopping. I love that our complex is in a neighborhood. It has a homey feel without living in a home. The people here are the nicest, and we have made great friends.
Not to mention this is where we brought Alex home from the hospital. This is the only home he has ever known.
If money was no object we would stay here until it was time to buy a house. But we do need to worry about money. Our apartment complex is raising their rent again, and it is too much for the size and condition of the apartments. So regrettably we are leaving this place we've called home for so long and move on.
We are moving to a complex that is 400 square feet more and $120 less a month. It is a smaller complex that doesn't have all the amenities like a pool and workout room, but that is not needed. It is only a few miles away which is a definite plus. We will be close to our friends and all the shopping and the interstate.
The move is in the middle of November so we have time to pack and let say farewell to our ward who we have grown to love.
Here is to a new chapter in our lives.
