Every Saturday this summer we have gone to the dog park with our friends the Andersons, then "shoot the tube" (see previous post). This Saturday we decided to shake things up and go to Antelope Island. Stephen has been wanting to float in the Salt Lake for years. He finally got his chance. We decided to do that first. We trekked over to the water only to find tons of bugs. Not just swarms here and there, but the whole coast was covered in them. It was disgusting. We were going to have a picnic by the water, then swim but decided against it. We walked to the picnic areas and ate our lunches. Then Stephen and Forrest swam in the water while Jill and I watched the babies. We were not going anywhere close those bugs!

The babies were getting cranky so we did a quick drive around the coast and headed out.

yes super cute smile from ALex! I can't believe the guys swam! The bugs are what I remember most about Antelope Island. Yuck. No desire to ever go back ;)I want to know how the salt water floating went!
