Substitute
Yesterday when I was in kindergarten the principal came into the room and asked to speak to me. I got so scared, I thought, what have I done to get into trouble? Luckily I wasn't in trouble, not even close, I actually must of done something right. A third grader teacher had to go to a funeral and would be gone for an hour and a half. He asked me if I wouldn't mind substituting for the class during that time period. It was so exciting, she gave me a general outline of what to teach, but the rest was up to me. I wish I knew the kids better and had more time to prepare so the lessons were better, but I loved it. We had a lesson on nouns and spelling. I really like the third grade. They are a great age. It was also the first time I was able to teach without having a teaching supervising me. I loved it. I can't wait to have my own classroom!
