I talked to Sister Jenkins today, and I have been "placed". It is called Silver Hills Elementary. I will be teaching with Mariah Vople in grade five. The school is in Kearns, which is south of Salt Lake. I am nervous to be in a fifth grade class, but I am so excited that I have my placement! If anyone wants to know more about my school, the website is http://www.graniteschools.org/el/silverhills/silver/ I have also got in contact Mariah. She has been teaching for five years, and hasn't had a student teacher before. Of course she loves teaching fifth grade. I can't wait to meet her and get started.

Student Teaching Placement

That is so cool! 5th grade is tough, but it can also be the most fun.
Ooo, how exciting to have more details. Good luck getting ready! Both of my girls just love their student teachers- better than their "regular" teachers. I am sure that will be that same case for you!
